Entrepreneurial Education

Entrepreneurial education in K-12 schools provide students the opportunity to explore facets of entrepreneurship and marketplace economics. They envision, create, market and sell their ventures and in the process learn about the nuts and bolts of good business practices and financial planning.

Many colleges and universities offer entrepreneurial courses or majors to equip their graduates with the knowledge to start their own business.

Why should students learn entrepreneurial education skills?

When students learn skills related to starting and operating a business they improve problem solving skills, creativity and critical thinking abilities. These skills are valuable life skills that also enhance their abilities to secure employment.
